At the Watson Institute, the safety and well-being of our staff and students are of the utmost importance. We know that students are better able to learn and flourish in safe and comforting environments.
The Watson Institute utilizes a number of tools and resources to keep our students and staff safe and to provide them with the ability to report concerns should they feel the need to do so.
Safe2Say Something
Safe2Say Something is an anonymous reporting system run by the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General. This system is available 24/7 for students, staff, and families to file an anonymous report whenever they have a safety concern, thus preventing possible violence and tragedy.
There are three ways to make an anonymous report:
- Call the tipline: 1-844-SAF2SAY (1-844-723-2729)
- Submit your tip online
- Download the mobile app to your Android or Apple device
988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
Are you or a loved one struggling with a mental health crisis or thoughts of self-harm? The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7 as a free and confidential resource for individuals who are in distress.
Call or text 988 or chat with someone who can help on the 988 Lifeline website. We can all help prevent suicide.
e2Campus Alert System
The Watson Institute utilizes Omnilert’s e2campus alert system to ensure that important communications reach our students and their families, and our staff.
e2campus enables Watson to send important messages via email, voice message, and text message, ensuring messages are received in a timely manner.
Unsure if you’re enrolled in the e2campus alert system? Contact your child’s Program Director to make sure your contact information is up-to-date!
